There is no off-season!

The Den schedule is out.  Starting next week at the YMCA, all incoming 9-12 grade athletes (as well as KHS college athletes), boys, girls, team sport or individual sport, are encouraged to get to the Den and put in “the work”:  a 7 week, college level, speed and strength program.  Technique and safety are top priority.  This program is for kids who have been involved in school athletics (at any level); this is not for kids who are interested in starting.  But, if you are an athlete (at any level), we will make you a better one: stronger, faster, more explosive, and more agile (and the program is based on the latest athletic research and programs from all over the country).

 

This program is done early in the afternoon so that athletes doing skill camps/clinics, or team practices can get stronger and faster as athletes: it is essential they do both!  Any successful college program “lifts” in-season, and off-season…just ask.  Athletes are improved in the speed and strength room.  (If a coach tells you different, find a new one)

Summer Schedule:  Starting next week, for 7 weeks  (Jun 29 – Aug 14): you will be peaked for fall sports.

Monday: 11:30-12:45

Tuesday:  11:30-12:45

Thursday:  11:30-12:45

Friday:  9:30-10:45

3 day program (combines Thursday and Friday)

Monday: 11:30-12:45

Tuesday:  11:30-12:45
